See you at the 10K! ~ Milli
I’m too scared! 10k *whistles in admiration*. I will check back and see how people go and maybe work up the courage to do a future 10k day.

Hi Charmaine,
No need to be scared (though we totally understand the feeling :)). It doesn’t matter whether you write 10K or 500 words, anyone who shows up for the day and gets some writing done is considered a champ!
One of the best things about the 10K Days is the camaraderie that happens on the check-in page. Everybody cheering each other on and genuinely proud of all of us.
By the way, both Marilyn and Catherine from the RSVP comments expressed the hope that you’ll join us.

Hee hee (embarrassed laugh). I should have visited your blog and Twitter page before I sent you the first message. Turns our you’re way more experienced as a writer than your comment suggested.
I hope you don’t mind the encouragement to join us, even though you obviously know what you’re doing. We’re a friendly bunch and we would LOVE to have another Aussie join us. Especially me (I lived in Australia for 25 years – NSW, QLD, VIC and NT – and I do still miss it).
Cheers ~ Milli
I in for both days. Come on Charmaine, no pressure here only encouragement.
I will be here. I’ve already written it down in my organizer, and I’ve told my daughter in law about it. I absolutely REFUSE to babysit on the 23rd. I need to WRITE! ๐
Unexpected catastrophes permitting…I should be here on the 23rd. I missed you guys last month when I didn’t join in!! ๐
I’m in for the 26th! And Charmaine, I hope you join us!!!

10K WOW- I am going to think about this- but this might be the motivation I need!
Hi Aisha!
We do hope you can join us. It’s a lot of fun. Here’s an immortalized blog comment from 2009 from Peachebean, one of our devout regulars of the 10K Day (devout in the bestest, most fun way ;)). If you’re still thinking about it, this might help convince you to give it a try:

Count me in for sure for at least one day. Haven’t been successful with 10K since November but I never give up! ๐

I have been MIA. Life is playing a practical joke on me…I think. ๐
I want to join in tomorrow to get some writing done. I have an outline I want to complete and some writing to do.
Count me in!
I’m in for the 26th. I’m in revisions on book one of my fantasy romance novella series, but I could start book two and get a good jump on it. This will be a good strong push!

Welcome, Cheryl. ๐ Starting book two sounds exciting! We’ll look forward to having you join us on Saturday.

Whoo hoo is right! Two smileys up!
(That’s like two thumbs up, only it’s for people who have a huge gift for making me smile and laugh.)

I signed up at the last moment. Hope I know what I’m getting myself into. Some progress is better than none, however. That’s what I’m going on.
