*runs* It is crazy how much I start looking forward to these. I’ll try for both days, but Wednesday might be iffy since that’s the day after my dad gets back from his mission trip. Who knows, I might write some of his stories.

So put me down for both!

Laura, I loved hearing about you running to the RSVP page as soon as you knew it was up. πŸ˜€

You’re down for both days – but we’ll know you’re busy welcoming your dad home if we don’t see you much tomorrow.

I’ll be here on the 25th for sure. With any luck, I’ll even be here earlier than what has become the norm for me. πŸ˜‰

Lois – We’ll see you bright and early(ISH) tomorrow. Since my definition of early is not like other people’s, that gives you a big time margin. πŸ˜€

Haha! My definition of early is working out as soon as Jeff leaves, then working out more before I write. I likely won’t be here until after 11:00! πŸ˜›

Yay for the RSVP page! πŸ™‚
Unfortunately however, I have no idea just yet if I’ll be able to attend this month. I sent my CV in to a few places, so most probably won’t know anything for sure until the 10K Day morning(s).
(However, I’m aiming for the 25th in case I’m free.)

Estrella – Here’s hoping that you’ll be free to join us tomorrow. At the same time, I wish you huge amounts of good fortune with getting some positive responses to your CV.

    Hiya,
I’m going to R.S.V.P for the 25th even though it’s going to be an insanely busy week for me. Still, hoping to be able to devote several hours to my writing next Wednesday and join you guys. Always so much fun!

OK! I’m in for the July 25th date . . . I think I may write longhand in a notebook, at least part of the time, to circumvent some shoulder issues I’m having . . . but I’m definitely in!
I’m one of the overseas people (Tunisia) so glad we get to have an early start– thanks Milli!

Hi Paula! Glad you found us and good luck with your shoulder. I hope the writing longhand will give you some relief.

The 10K Day check-in page will be available on the home page shortly, shiny and bright and ready for our overseas people to get started and warm up the check-ins for us. πŸ™‚

P.S. Your website looks intriguing. Something different and unique! Will be browsing through it this evening as part of “getting into 10K Day creative mode” prep.

    Hi,

Things are a bit up in the air at the moment, but I am going to try for both days.

I have just started on my second book, so I am looking to get some serious word counts down πŸ˜‰

Once again, I am not even going to try for 10K in a day, but if I manage 5K each, then I will be happy ;-P

Hope to see you then, and as usual, best of luck for all who enter.

    Cheers

      Hi there, Liam,

Starting your second book? How exciting! We will look forward to having our favorite Irishman with us on one or both of the 10K Days, depending on how you go.

        Hi there Milli,

and thanks for those kind words.

The book outline has been collecting dust for almost a year now. Though I have done some technical research over that time.

It is very different from the first book (which is now a bit delayed due to proof reading issues <:-(

However, I just got notified of a seminar that I need to attend this afternoon at 6pm.

I will still try to put up a fair number, but the 5k target for the day is looking unlikely.

None-the-less, I will still try for the 10k over the full two days.

And, for everyone: I wish you the best of luck, and may the gift of the gab be with you!

      Hi Peter,

Glad you found us and we’ll look forward to welcoming you to your first-ever 10K Day on Saturday. πŸ™‚

You mentioned that you have no idea how you’re going to manage it. Does this mean you’re feeling a bit intimidated by the goal of 10,000 words? Or something else? If you can come back to this comment thread and repost some details, I might be able to help.

      Cheers ~ Milli
