Letter Box ยฉ Natale Matteo Dreamstime.com

If you’d like to join us for one or both of this month’s 10K Daysโ€”Wednesday, November 28 or Saturday December 1โ€”you can start here by posting your RSVP in the comments section below.

Please specify which day(s) you’ll be attending.

Next step is to prepare yourself ahead of time so you’ll have the best experience possible. Mouse over 10K DAYS in the menu above and you’ll find more info.

To participate, return to the HOME PAGE of this blog on the morning of your chosen 10K Day. (Each writer determines his/her own start time.) You’ll find a special post called 10K Day: Live While It’s Happening! and that’s where you’ll be posting your check-ins.

The Live, While It’s Happening! post will give you pointers on what to post for your check-ins.

Please leave your RSVP/comments below.

See you at the 10K! ~ Milli

P.S. For writers who are participating from overseas and who are ahead of the U.S. in their time zone: I always post the check-in page on the evening of the day before the scheduled date. So feel free to write within your own time zone and to post your check-ins. We’ll be glad to have you warm up the page for the rest of us. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ll be joining you from Hamilton, New Zealand with a small group of writers. We’ll probably be your first check-ins!

*sad face* I’m working both days unfortunately… And I could sooo use a writing day to turn in a travel article for this month. Will have to work on that one of these days.

    Happy writing to everyone else!

    Hi guys,
It’s already the 28th of November here in NZ so we’ve started! There are five of us here in Hamilton. We are eating Chocolate cake, strawberries, almonds, shapes (crackers), chicken (???) lots of water and some of us are hitting the caffeine.
Erin started at 8.30 so that’s the time we’re going to call our start time, even though we drifted in one by one. Our words counts are 1610, 1338, 934, 363. Guess who came late? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Renee had to duck out, so not sure what her word count is.
    10K day on!

I’m on 701 words, and back on board as of 11.07am NZ time. Just ducked out to see a performance of a theatre in education piece I wrote, so it’s all relevant!

We’ve just had lunch break and about to get back into it! Word counts at present sit at 2331, 2047, 4159, 4198 and 3554.

Going well so far, hope the rest of the world will join in sometime soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello and Welcome to our our new Kiwi contingent!!

My apologies about the check-in page. I just got home from a trip and saw it had been mis-scheduled. I’ve corrected that and you can now use the check-in page for your updates.

Your feasts sounds yummy!! And your word counts are awesome. ๐Ÿ™‚
