Me and my characters, we’ll be here! 😀 Not sure which day yet…or if it will be both days, but believe me, we WILL be in attendance. How I’ve missed these!

    Hi Milli (and everybody)

I’m still quite a fledgling writer, and am only 2000 words into my first ever NaNoWriMo (I should be 5000 but I only discovered it yesterday so am two days behind!) but I would love to give a 10k day my best go!

I’ll be here on the Wednesday, nervously jigging my legs under the table and fighting off the urge to check my Facebook games…

    Best wishes,
    Toyah :o)

PS I’m in the UK so my morning will obviously start a lot sooner than yours…does that matter? This whole online ‘writing with other people’ stuff is all very new to me still! :oS

PPS Sorry about the smileys – I wasn’t shouting/exclaiming, I just used an ‘o’ as the nose. Doh! 😉

    Welcome, Toyah!

We’ll be very glad to have you join us. 😀

You’re doing amazingly well with your first NaNo, especially with only having discovered it after it started. I love your spirit!!

It’s perfectly OK for you to start appearing on the 10K Day comments page at whatever time your day starts in the UK. We also sometimes have an Aussie who kicks things off for us from the other side of the world, so he starts posting while we’re still all sleeping. We’re an international group!

No worries about the smileys. We always hope people will smile, laugh and have fun at Fear of Writing.

    C U on the 24th! ~ Milli

I’m in! This will be my first time and I’m very excited to join you all. Since my longest story so far is about 5K words, I’m half way there in my mind…

    Good luck to everyone!

    catherine 🙂

I am participating in Nano for the second time and think that this is an awesome idea! I’m at about 6500 words so far and look forward to joining in this 10k challenge on Wed 11/24! =)

The 27th is my Dad’s birthday (deceased years ago) always a special sort of day. I will have the house to myself that day and can write away.

      Laura,

It’s great that you’ll be able to devote your dad’s birthday to a writing party. It will be fun to have you join us!

I’d love to attend on November 24. If that works out, then I’ll join on November 27th as well. Will there be a reminder email or should I pen this into my planner already?

Signing up for the 24th! I’m going to need the words for NaNo if I’m not going to write over the holiday/birthday (my birthday is on Thanksgiving this year).

G’day youse people up there in USA – It’s me, Al, from the land of Oz (and hopefully, the only bloke in this mob).

I forgot about Nano this year – here, he blushed and hung his head in shame; but I’ll try for both days. I just want to get away from the grind of non-fiction SEO stuff for a week or so.

PS: Laura, my thoughts will be with you on your Dad’s birthday.

    Hugs everyone
    Al

Hey guys. It looks like a wonderful turnout for the returning 10K. Because we are celebrating Thanksgiving in these here parts of the world I can’t participate. I have a house full coming starting with my 90 year old dad who wants to play golf with me on Tuesday. Thinking of you as well Laura and feeling so blessed. Also my sister lost her battle with ovarian cancer on Thanksgiving Day last year so brother-in-law and niece are coming in Wednesday and other family and neighbors coming for Thanksgiving dinner Thursday. So much to do. I’ll have, so far, 18 for dinner and counting. Therefore my Mikey Dog book will have to wait until December. Good luck all you wonderful writers and to you newbys, you will love it. It’s so wonderful to check in with everyone and share in this beautiful community. Thanks Milli for starting 10K again and blessings to all from the Texas Hill Country.
