I’m in for Saturday. I have a writer’s group (not a critique group) I attend on Wednesdays. After we are instructed in meditation we are then free to work on our WIP. I can certainly count what I do there. I’m usually most productive during the group, so I’ll sign up for Wednesday, as well.

Marvin, your writers’ group sounds very enlightened. And what a great idea to combine that with the 10K Day by counting the words you write during the group.

It will be fun to have you with us both days. πŸ™‚

Ah, looks like you’re doing Script Frenzy. Well, then, a good ol’ 10K Day will be just the ticket. Especially with bells on. And tea. ;~)

I would like to sign up for my very first 10K on Wednesday the 20th. I’ve been putting it off because we are trying to move house. But the move keeps being delayed. So either I’ll write 10,000 words next Wednesday (which will be great) or the fates will intervene and we’ll be closing on our new house (which will be great).

      Welcome, Sara. πŸ™‚

Scheduling a 10K Day while you’re waiting for your house to close could be very good luck. (Kind of like putting the laundry out to dry when you need rain.) Selfishly, I so hope to see you here next Wednesday. But I also hope you sell your house super-quick!!

I’m super excited to attend both days! Yes, for the first time I will attend on a Wednesday. I’ll have to write during my lunch hour at in the evening but if I can get 2500 words typed that is good enough. After visiting the town my novel originates (and with tons of pictures to use as visual inspiration), I’m ready to get typing. I’ll aim for 10k on the Saturday date.
    See you all then!

Yay! Both days. That’s wonderful, Crystal.

We’ve had 10Kers in the past who did the same thing: wrote in their lunch hour and then in the evening after dinner. I think your goal of 2500 words sounds reasonable.

And then all day Saturday to write like the wind! (hey, isn’t that a song? . . . write like the wind? ;))
