WHERE TO GO TO PARTICIPATE
ON JANUARY 22 OR 25

To participate, return to the HOME PAGE of this blog on the morning of your chosen 10K Day. (Each writer determines his/her own start time.) You’ll find a special post called 10K Day: Live While It’s Happening! and that’s where you’ll be posting your check-ins.

The Live, While It’s Happening! post will give you pointers on what to post for your check-ins.

Please leave your RSVP/comments below.

See you at the 10K! ~ Jenny & Milli

P.S. For writers who are participating from overseas and who are ahead of the U.S. in their time zone: I always post the check-in page on the afternoon of the day before the scheduled date. So feel free to write within your own time zone and to post your check-ins. We’ll be glad to have you warm up the page for the rest of us. 🙂

Okay, I’m going to commit to the 25th–with the caveat that I may have to do a day-long event for a client that day and if so, I won’t be able to write. But I’m hoping that doesn’t happen!

      Charlotte!!

Awesome to see you here RSVPing for your first 10K Day. I’ve been looking forward to having you join us, and I hope you like it when you try it.

Here’s hoping it works out for the 25th to be free for writing. 🙂

Looking forward to it, Milli! Looks like I’ll only be able to officially make it on the 25th, but here’s hoping I can squeeze in some writing on the 22nd as well.

      Hi Estrella 🙂

Glad you’re looking forward to it! See you on the 22nd (maybe, for a little bit) and then the 25th!

      XO

I’m probably not going to be able to write both days this month like I usually do. So I’ll put myself down for Saturday the 25th. But I’ll be around on the 22nd to watch the progress and cheer everyone on. 🙂

Sounds great, Milli. Your cheering will be appreciated, I know, and having at least one day to devote fully to writing is still better than zero 🙂

      Yippee! So glad you’re “back”!

I was surprised it would be this soon. Are your wrists 100% healed? Or do you have a way to minimize the strain of a 10K Day for your wrists?

I won’t be shooting for 10K, because no, my hands aren’t 100% yet. But they’re getting better all the time, and I’ve pretty much learned my limits when it comes to typing. Frequent breaks are a must, for sure.

Then again, so are words. 😉

I’ve only been doing serious writing two to three days per week, and I haven’t reached 5K in a day in ages. I’ll shoot for a specific goal, even if it’s not a specific word count, and see what happens. 🙂

Thanks! I hate being sensible, but sometimes it’s necessary. 😉

I’ll be here for the Wednesday, not sure what my schedule is for Saturday yet, it’s the other half’s birthday party, so we’ll see 🙂

Carole, I’m excited you’ll be here. I didn’t think I’d be able to do the Wednesday this month, only Saturday, but it’s turned out I can. So I’ll be writing with you, whoo hoo!

I will be there on Saturday, January 25th! I’ll be getting a later start, probably mid afternoon, and working into the night. I’m excited to be a part of this event and get some writing done. Thanks, Milli! See everyone soon.
